Charlotte may have a slim chance of snow Monday night into early Tuesday morning.
From 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., a weak weather disturbance could create conditions favorable for a few snowflakes.
However, there’s a catch: dry air near the ground might cause the snow to evaporate before it touches down. Even if flurries are spotted, no significant accumulation or impacts are expected.
Still, just a trace would end Charlotte’s snowless streak of 1,044 days, which dates back to Jan. 29, 2022.
Keep expectations low, but if you’re lucky, you might catch a fleeting flurry.
