It’s official: Nintendo will be releasing its Switch 2 in 2025!

After rumors and leaks, the company finally revealed the Switch’s successor on Thursday.

This new edition of the console will be larger and more powerful than the original and will include a kickstand and magnetized Joy-Cons for the controller.

Even better, the system will be backward compatible for both physical and digital games for the original Switch!

In the video preview shared from the company, it hints at a new “Mario Kart” game to be released with the console.

The company also announced that more details will be coming in a Nintendo Direct on April 2.
