The Weeknd has pledged to donate $1 million to Los Angeles firefighters and residents affected by recent wildfires, including the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire.

The singer will contribute to organizations such as the LAFD Foundation and GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund.

The Weeknd’s humanitarian efforts are in collaboration with World Food Program USA and his XO Humanitarian Fund.

He canceled a concert at the Rose Bowl and postponed the release of his album to January 31 to focus on supporting the recovery of the affected communities.

The Weeknd has a history of charitable donations, including contributions to various causes such as coronavirus relief, Black Lives Matter, and humanitarian aid in Gaza.

Other musicians, such as Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, have also shown support for those impacted by the wildfires.
