Doug Kiker, known as the singing garbage man from “American Idol,” has passed away at the age of 32. His family is seeking help to bring him home and provide a proper

memorial. Kiker impressed judges with his rendition of “Bless the Broken Road” but was eliminated in a later round. He had plans to release an album and had performed with

Rascal Flatts during the show’s finale. Kiker was found unwell and taken to a hospital, where he later died. An investigation into his death is ongoing. Prayers go out to the Doug Kiker family as they go through this difficult time.
