Huxley A1239206 Two year old 49 lb staffy pit mix. He loves everyone he meets. Strong on a leash but easily corrected and much better with a harness! Loves treats and will show you his treat catching skills. Loves toys! Checks in with his person frequently. Cutest little grin! He is always happy and waiting for his forever patiently.
Lady Bug A1239919 two year old 53 lb Lab mix. Meet Ladybug, a loving, playful, and affectionate pup ready to brighten your days! This gorgeous chocolate-coated sweetheart is kid- and dog-friendly. Her adorable toe-tapping dance of excitement when she sees you is one of her many charms. Gentle and treat-motivated, she takes treats with the softest touch, and when it comes to cuddling, she’s an expert—happily giving hugs and kisses to anyone willing to receive them. With the spirit of a Labrador, she’s always ready for fun, whether it’s playing, making new friends, or simply enjoying time with her humans. She’s house-trained, walks beautifully with a harness, and is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate.
Both Huxley and Lady Bug are heartworm positive. The shelter will pay for treatment but not until they have committed family 🙁
As with any rescue or shelter dog, please follow the 3:3:3 rule. These dogs need to decompress….3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, 3 months to feel safe and part of your home. Give them time and patience. SLOW INTROS are always recommended for any new dog entering a new home.
