We have a BIG special event tomorrow. Steps for Shelter Pets at Pearl Street Park. Mix 1079 and Holly Haze will be out there live and all of the dogs that are featured today are available from Animal Care and Control and will be there!! So this week, our featured dogs are some of the MANY that will be at tomorrow’s event. Come meet CHERRY, LUNA BELLE, KELLY, BRUNO, GEO, PIPER, RAY & SWEETIE! And MANY more!! This event will bring awareness to the staggering numbers of animals that enter the doors at Animal Care & Control…over 10,500 in 2024 and the numbers are expected to be higher in 2025. Foster, adopt, spay and neuter. See you tomorrow with all our Furry Friends!!
As with any rescue or shelter dog, please follow the 3:3:3 rule. These dogs need to decompress….3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, 3 months to feel safe and part of your home. Give them time and patience. SLOW INTROS are always recommended for any new dog entering a new home.
