The Breakfast Club Movie Turns 40

…..and now we feel old.

2025 marks the 40th anniversary of The Breakfast Club, and all five actors who play the title characters were brought together at a convention for the first time earlier this year.

The Breakfast Club, written and directed by John Hughes, follows five students from different cliques who discover that their labels do not define them during a Saturday detention.

Universal Pictures will be bringing the film back to theaters nationwide for two days of special screenings on September 7th and the 10th, with advance tickets available on Fandango.

Universal Pictures executive Jim Orr stated, “The Breakfast Club is one of the great films about identity, alienation, and connection. The film’s honesty, humor, and humanity continue to connect with audiences of all ages.”
