Shaun White and Nina Dobrev End Engagement After Five Years
Snowboarding legend Shaun White and actress Nina Dobrev have ended their engagement, PEOPLE confirmed Wednesday.
White, 39, and Dobrev, 36, had been together for five years.
The couple first crossed paths briefly at an awards show in 2012 but did not connect until 2019. They began dating later that year and moved in together at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
White made their relationship Instagram official in May 2020, sharing photos of the pair during lockdown. The couple announced their engagement in 2023.
Neither White nor Dobrev has publicly commented on the split.
