✨🐾 Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week, sponsored by Zerorez Charlotte! 🐾✨

Both of these adorable faces are the longest residents at Anson County Animal Shelter in Polkton, NC. This small rural shelter gets very little foot traffic and relies heavily on social media shares — so let’s help get these sweet pups seen!

S’mores has been at the shelter since August 22 — a 1-year-old white male (45 lbs) with the happiest smile and most loving personality.

Dixie arrived on August 6 — a 2-year-old chocolate female (43 lbs) with a gentle spirit and eyes full of hope.

Both came to the shelter heartbroken and unsure, but when they met — everything changed. Now, these two bring joy to each other every single day while they wait for their ticket out of the shelter. 💕

They’re both mixed breed, fixed, heartworm negative, and dog friendly. A rescue is even willing to step in and help if a foster can be found!

They may not be a bonded pair, but they’d happily be adopted or fostered together.Let’s give these sweethearts the second chance they deserve!

Give them patience, love, and slow introductions — they’ll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty. ❤️
