Matthew Perry’s Drug Dealer Makes Plea To Judge

Jasveen Sangha’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, argued that her actions did not make her an “organizer” or “leader” in the drug distribution scheme that led to Matthew Perry’s death.
Sangha emphasized her 17 months of sobriety, medical issues, lack of criminal history, family support, and education as factors to consider in her sentencing.
Sangha pleaded guilty to five federal criminal charges related to providing ketamine to Perry, resulting in his overdose death.
Sangha’s attorney defended her actions of deleting messages after Perry’s death as “panic and poor judgment” rather than willful obstruction.
She faces up to 65 years in prison and is scheduled for sentencing in December, along with other individuals involved in the case.
