The NFL has fined Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper $300,000 for his “unacceptable conduct” during his team’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tepper was seen in a video tossing liquid from his drink towards a fan from his suite, appearing to be in disgust.

The league stated that all NFL personnel are expected to conduct themselves in ways that respect fans and reflect positively on their team and the league.

Tepper apologized for his behavior and stated that he should have let stadium security handle any issues that arose.

“I am deeply passionate about this team and regret my behavior on Sunday,” Tepper said in a statement about the incident. “I should have let NFL stadium security handle any issues that arose. I respect the NFL’s code of conduct and accept the League’s discipline for my behavior.”

Tepper is worth a whopping $20.5 Billion.

The Panthers have the worst record in the NFL and traded away this year’s number one pick to aquire QB Bryce Young in last year’s draft.
