Oh Young-soo, the Emmy-nominated actor from Netflix’s Squid Game, has been convicted of sexual misconduct in South Korea and given an eight-month prison sentence.
The 79-year-old plans to appeal the ruling after being ordered to attend classes on sexual violence.
The case stemmed from a complaint filed by a female actor he worked with in 2017, alleging indecent assault.
Oh has denied the charges but has faced consequences, including being dropped from a play and having his scenes deleted from an upcoming movie.
He will not return for the second season of Squid Game.
