Many women can be upfront about how many BESTIES they have, and who they are.  But men can be a little more elusive about how many best buds they have . . . and where they rank.

According to a report, the average American man has EIGHT friends total . . . including five “general” friends, three “close” friends, and two “best” friends.

33% of men are most comfortable calling their friends “bro.”

26% prefer “brother” or “brotha.”

21% usually use “homie.”

And just 6% would use the word “bestie.”

And men spend an average of four hours connecting with friends every week, which includes:  94 minutes hanging out in person . . . 52 minutes texting . . . 42 minutes talking on the phone . . . and 39 minutes DMing on social media.
