Valentine’s Day can be rough on single people.  And a BAD DATE might be better than NO DATE.

In a new survey, 61% of single people say they’re willing to go out for a FIRST DATE on February 14th.

65% of single men are into it, compared to 57% of single women.  And Gen Z is the most adventurous, with 70% willing to go for it.

The survey didn’t mention this, but it probably helps that Valentine’s Day is a Friday this year, since it’s easier to roll with it as any other “Friday night date.”

The survey also found that 1 in 4 people will celebrate “Galentine’s Day” on Thursday, February 13th.  It celebrates love and friendship, particularly among women.  So, it’s a time when a group of friends go out for a dinner together.  It was popularized by Parks and Recreation.
