Who Has the Best Flirting Advice? Boomers, Zoomers, Millennials, or Gen X?

Who do you think would give the best advice on how to be good at flirting?  Young people . . . old people . . . or someone in the middle who’s been around the block, but hasn’t lost touch?

A writer for “Huff Post” asked people of all ages for their best advice on flirting.  And she boiled their comments down to one line for each generation.

1.  Boomers:  “Be yourself and be respectful.”  Or as one guy put it, “They will eventually get to meet [the real] you.  Why not now?”

2.  Gen X:  “Be funny, interesting, AND interested.”  In other words, don’t be too stiff, don’t be boring, and also LISTEN.

3.  Millennials:  “Be friendly and witty.”  So, similar advice.  Being funny or quick-witted helps.  And don’t be a jerk.

4.  Gen Z:  “Be complimentary, cheeky, and authentic.”  So again, be respectful, don’t take things too seriously, and be yourself.

The writer who talked to them saw some other similarities across all generations too.  Quote, “Everyone, whether they were 18 or 79, wanted to be seen, respected, and listened to.  They didn’t want their boundaries crossed.  They wanted to laugh and have fun.”
