Rolling Stone UK is receiving backlash for a title they gave Harry Styles.
Harry is on the cover with the caption, “How the new King of Pop set the music world aflame”.
Michael Jackson is known for the title of King of Pop King of Pop is also trademarked by the Jackson Estate.
Taj Jackson, nephew of the late Michael Jackson tweeted to “Rolling Stone, there is no new King of Pop. You don’t own the title @RollingStone and you didn’t earn it, my uncle did. Decades of dedication and sacrifice. The title has been retired. No disrespect to Harry Styles, he’s mega talented. Give him his own unique title.”
