Singer Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley, has died after being rushed to the hospital on Thursday, her mother Priscilla Presley confirmed in a post on Instagram. She was only 54 years old.

Los Angeles County paramedics were dispatched to a Calabasas home at 10:37 a.m. following a report of a woman in full cardiac arrest, according to Craig Little, a spokesperson for the county’s fire department. Property records indicate Presley was a resident at that address.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla Presley says in a statement released Thursday evening. “She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known.” The daughter of rock legend Elvis Presley went into “full cardiac arrest” at about 10:40 a.m. PST in her Calabasas home, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Lisa Marie Presley was most recently seen on Tuesday night at the Golden Globe Awards, which she attended with her mother to support the Baz Luhrmann film “Elvis,” about her late father.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee on Feb. 1, 1968, exactly nine months after Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding, Lisa Marie was briefly raised in the area before moving to Los Angeles at age 4 with her mother following her parents’ 1973 divorce.
