Actor Tom Sizemore died Friday, his manager Charles Lago told CBS News in a statement. Sizemore “passed away peacefully in his sleep” at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, Lago said, with his family by his side.

Sizemore, 61, acted in films like “Saving Private Ryan,” “Heat” and “Black Hawk Down.” While he received accolades for his acting, his career suffered after arrests involving drugs and domestic altercations.

Sizemore collapsed early Feb. 18 at his home in Los Angeles and was been hospitalized since.

His death comes nearly two weeks after he suffered a brain aneurysm.

Sizemore has two children, 17-year-old twin boys.
