Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture, and society. Mix 107.9 recognizes Women’s History Month by Celebrating HERstory. We celebrate Jamie Krusch, the Executive Director for Girls On The Run Greater Charlotte. She is a passionate advocate for positive youth development programs for girls. Together, Jamie and her team collaborate on how to provide access to programs for girls of all backgrounds.
Jamie is originally from Dallas, Texas and move to the Queen City in 2011, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. She is married to her loving and supporting husband David, a native Charlottean. She is also a mom of Zoe (4.5 years old) and Gabbi (21 months old). When she is not working, or chasing around her kids, Jamie enjoys reading, cooking, and catching the occasional comedy show at the Comedy Zone.
