Despite efforts to stop them, Americans are getting more robocalls than ever.

A staggering 5 billion robocalls were received in March, according to data from YouMail.

That’s a 15% increase over the previous month, despite ‘significant’ efforts to block them by digital carriers.

The most common robocall was a campaign for low-cost health insurance. Banking scams are a huge problem too.

It’s only April and Americans have already lost $7 Billion in bank scams and losses could approach $28 billion by the end of the year.

Two important tips to remember: 1. Never provide personal information like banking details or other sensitive information.

2. Don’t answer phone calls or texts from unknown numbers, especially those that call or text at odd hours.
