Madonna is lending her support to the #FreeBritney movement.
The pop star took to Instagram writing, “Give this woman her life back. Slavery was abolished so long ago! Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing this to women for centuries. This is a violation of human rights! Britney, we [are] coming to get you out of jail!”
Madonna’s message was shared with her over 16 million followers and featured the “Material Girl” wearing a t-shirt bearing Britney’s name.
Other stars supporting Britney’s release from her conservatorship include Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, and Miley Cyrus.
