Every Friday, Mix 107.9 showcases an available dog through the local shelter or area rescue. The situation at the city and county shelters is dire. Lack of funding, lack of staff, lack of space combined with dogs and cats being surrendered daily adds up to tough euthanasia decisions.
Meet the Mix 107.9 Furry Friday Friends of the Week!
Here is Bennie! He is a Jack Russell Terrier, 3-4yo, 19lbs with high energy! He will need an active family. He LOVES walks and runs and being outside. He is great with kids! Loves to run and play. He is a little shadow and just wants to be with his people. He is also happy just chilling with you (as long as he also gets belly rubs!) He is crate trained- is his own little room to relax. He is house trained and does well in the car.
And Finn!! Finn is an adorable 10 month old lab mix and bundle of energy! He is so smart and wants to learn. He wants to please his people so badly. He is a fast learner but does have puppy behaviors that he is still working on. He loves other dogs but plays pretty rough, he would love a doggy sibling that can match his wild child energy. He is a lot of fun and would love to meet his people soon!
