2022 iHeartCountry Festival Presented By Capital One – Red Carpet

Following the recent announcement of his headlining Cab in a Solo Tour, Scotty McCreery has now been inducted into the prestigious North Carolina Music Hall of Fame.

During last night’s annual ceremony (October 21), McCreery was among the six artists inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center in Mooresville, N.C.

McCreery treated the audience to an acoustic performance of his popular songs, including “Five More Minutes,” “This is It,” “Damn Strait,” and his latest track, “Cab in a Solo.”

Several artists were recognized this year, including Loudon Wainwright III, George Beverly Shea, Betty Davis, Bill “Fatback” Curtis, and Fetchin’ Bones.  McCreery is now part of the esteemed Hall, joining a list of distinguished honorees that includes Eric Church, John Coltrane, Fantasia, Andy Griffith, Ronnie Milsap, Thelonious Monk, Earl Scruggs, Nina Simone, James Taylor, Randy Travis, and many others.
