The surviving main cast of ‘Friends’ has issued a joint statement honoring their late co-star Matthew Perry.

The actors said, “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”

They added, “In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.” Perry died suddenly on Saturday (Oct. 28) at age 54.

Following his sudden death, TBS is making plans to honor the life of Matthew Perry.

Starting on Wednesday, November 1, TBS will have a Best of Chandler marathon to celebrate the life of the Friends star.  The marathon will feature Perry’s most heartwrenching episodes alongside tributes to Perry and his career.

The marathon will last until Sunday, November 5.
