Two New York fans, Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden, accuse Madonna, Live Nation, and Barclays Center of “unconscionable, unfair, and/or deceptive trade practices” for marketing tickets to the December 13th “Celebration Tour” at Barclays with an 8:30 p.m. start time.

Madonna, who didn’t hit the stage until 10:30 p.m., finished her show at 1:00 a.m., and the men say it caused a hardship for them.

Fellows and Hadden say they were “confronted with limited public transportation, limited ride-sharing, and/or increased public and private transportation costs” at the late hour, per the suit. Additionally, attendees of the weeknight show “had to get up early to go to work and/or take care of their family responsibilities the next day.”

The suit also noted Madonna’s “long history of arriving and starting her concerts late.” The defendants’ actions “constitute not just a breach of their contracts,” “but also a wanton exercise in false advertising” and “negligent misrepresentation.”

Do you think Madonna should be held accountable for arriving late to her shows? Should the judge rule in favor of the men?
