The angelic singer is holding onto the hope that she’ll someday perform again. Her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome was a devastating blow, but Dion is fighting to stay positive.
Recently, Celine’s sister, Claudette Dion, said that the singer “doesn’t have control over her muscles” in a December 2023 interview with 7 Jours.
The syndrome is believed to be an autoimmune disorder where the immune system attacks healthy tissue.
While it’s extremely rare, it affects more women than men, per Johns Hopkins Medicine.
