Post Malone and Taylor Swift have collaborated on their first song together, “Fortnight,” which is the lead single from Swift’s 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department. The long-awaited collaboration comes after the two artists first met at the Billboard Music Awards in 2018. Swift praised Post Malone’s artistry and shared her excitement for fans to hear their song. Post Malone recently revealed in an interview with Apple Music that working with Swift was a great experience and praised her songwriting skills. Malone described the project as a unique and creative endeavor that allowed him to explore new musical styles. Taylor shared on X (formally Twitter) that the song would be the first single with a picture of the two of them together, her caption read: “The first single from The Tortured Poets Department is…………. Fortnight featuring @postmalone I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation, and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever. I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight.”
