After acquiring the rights to a documentary on Cyndi Lauper, Paramount+ has announced a release date for the Cyndi Lauper documentary. On Tuesday, Paramount+ announced that Let The Canary Sing will premiere on the streaming service on June 4. The documentary chronicles Lauper’s career and the “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” singer’s impact on pop culture. As a bonus, a companion album of the same name is scheduled to be released, including Lauper’s biggest hits.
