Miss Alabama 2021 Zoe Sozo Bethel has died eight days after head injuries sustained in a car accident.
The 27-year-old was involved in an accident on February 10 and was taken to hospital.
Zoe’s parents confirmed her death on her Instagram page saying that she passed away in Miami.
‘Our beloved Zoe Sozo Bethel passed from this life into the next as a result of succumbing to her injuries,’ her family wrote on Facebook.
Friends and family have flooded social media with their condolences and prayers for the family.
Before her death, Zoe was a reporter for Right Side Broadcasting Network and a brand ambassador and executive producer at Miss Liberty USA.
