You may remember Jacob Moran, the 27-year-old nurse from season 17 of American Idol.
He made it to Hollywood but was eventually eliminated. Moran made his return on Sunday (March 20) with a performance of Katy Perry’s “Roar,” which he performed in front of the songstress herself.
60 lbs lighter and with new confidence, Moran belted out the song with Katy giving him a standing ovation. It was a “yes” from all the Idol judges giving Moran another chance to be the next American Idol.
