A security guard at last weekend’s Lollapalooza music festival has been arrested and charged for sending a fake mass shooting threat.

Authorities say 18-year-old Janya Williams used an app to send an anonymous text message that read “Mass shooting at 4pm location Lollapalooza.  We have 150 targets.”

After she was arrested, Williams admitted to investigators that she made up the threats “because she wanted to leave work early”.

Williams is charged with falsely making a terroristic threat and is facing 4-15 years behind bars.

What’s the worst excuse you’ve ever heard for missing work?
