Anne Heche is not expected to survive.
The Emmy-winning actress suffered a catastrophic brain injury during a car accident on August 5th.
A rep for Heche said, “Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition. She is not expected to survive. It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she’s being kept on life support to determine if any are viable.”
The fiery crash also destroyed a home.
On Thursday, Police said Heche had drugs in her system, and she was being investigated for possibly driving under the influence.
“In preliminary testing, the blood draw revealed the presence of drugs,” Los Angeles police said in a statement.
