You read that correctly, 23 contact lenses!!

The doctor used a q-tip and a jewlers forcep to extract the contact lenses.
Some of the contact lenses had turned green and may have been in the patience eye for years!
A few years ago a patient in the UK had left 27 contact lenses in her eyes for over 35 years.
