The Carolina Panthers legendary WR turned NFL Network Analyst joined Kyle Bailey on Monday’s edition of The Kyle Bailey Show to recap Thursday’s win for the Panthers over the Falcons, and if they can keep it rolling against the Ravens.
Things start with whether or not the Panthers can sustain their performance from Thursday Night against the Ravens as he told Kyle that they can try to have the same game plan against the Ravens but called it a “Daunting Task” because of how tough the Ravens defense is.
He also noted that this will be an interesting game for some of the rookies like Ikem Ekwonu going against talented veterans such as Calais Campbell and how they perform against guys that know more than they do at this time.
Earlier in the day, it was announced that Baker Mayfield would return as the starter for the Panthers against the Ravens due to a High Ankle Sprain that PJ Walker suffered from Thursday’s win as Steve said this game is big for Baker because it means a lot for his future as a starter and he went on to say if he is Sam Darnold he doesn’t want to play because if he goes out on the field it possibly diminishes his chances of making good backup QB money this offseason.
One player that has caught Steve’s eye in recent weeks has been D’Onta Foreman Steve loves how he runs hard and his swagger but also isn’t mad that he doesn’t get every carry as he also reminds Steve Smith as a better version of what Mike Davis was in Carolina.
