The official ad for the Mike Tyson/Evander Holyfield THC gummie collaboration is pretty darn funny. Everyone in the MIX 107.9 studio literally LOL’d when we played the audio on the air during the Matt & Ramona Morning Show.
Iron Mike, who infamously bit a chunk out of Evander’s ear during a heavyweight title boxing title match, is now suggesting that if he’d been on cannabis, maybe he would have been a kinder, gentler champ.
Tyson’s people say they reached out to Evander about a year ago but they couldn’t get a deal worked out. A few weeks ago, Holyfield’s manager connected with wrestler Ric Flair, who is another Tyson 2.0. weed partner. Evander wanted in and with an assist from Flair, Tyson’s people made it happen.
Is the boxer who was once billed as “The Baddest Man on the Planet” more mellow these days because he’s got gummies? Is he just recruiting a line-up of interesting characters to push products?
