The legendary Panthers WR turned NFL Network Analyst joined Kyle Bailey on Monday’s show to weigh in on the Conference Championship Games, and the Panthers hiring Frank Reich as HC.

Steve started the show by discussing some of the controversial calls from the AFC Championship Game between the Chiefs and Bengals he said it depends on where your vantage point is, but Steve thinks that the late hit in the final seconds of the game was the right call, and Patrick Mahomes took full advantage of being hit late as well. Another factor that Steve thought played a major role was Kansas City being motivated by the notion of Joe Burrow surpassing Patrick Mahomes as a QB.

When it comes to the Panthers hiring Frank Reich over Steve Wilks, Steve said he likes Steve Wilks and thinks he can be a hell of an HC in the NFL, but Steve thinks something must have stood out in the interview process seemed for Frank Reich to be the guy.

The next question for the Panthers is the search for a QB this offseason and if they draft a QB, Steve noted that no matter who it is it will take some time because the players in college football don’t get properly developed which Steve thinks has been a reason for the rise of busts in recent years.
