In ‘Maverick’, Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer were reunited.
Cruise recently opened up about how he felt when he reunited with Val Kilmer for Top Gun: Maverick, which was a very emotional experience for him. Tom said to Jimmy Kimmel, “I just want to say that was pretty emotional. I’ve known Val for decades, and for him to come back and play that character… he’s such a powerful actor that he instantly became that character again.” He continued, “You’re just looking at Iceman. I was crying, I was crying. I got emotional. He’s such a brilliant actor, I love his work.”
