Phillip Phillips + Three Mix Singer Showcase Contestants + Everyone at Taste Of Charlotte = A spectacular event that showed off just how supportive this city can be.
Thanks to everyone who performed, showed up and showed out at our event on the main stage. The cheers were raucous, the singalongs were spectacular and the performances were an A+.
Phillip Phillps was our closing act for the Mix Singer Showcase and played his brand new song “Dancing With Your Shadows” off his brand new album, “Drift Back.” You can hear the new song on Mix 107.9.
Jacob Thompsen took home the gold after the Showcase went to a crowd-vote because it culminated in a tie. Our judges had given Kayla Vega and her exceptional perforance the same marks.
Sam Pomerantz also crushed it with his stage presence and crowd involvement.
It was an incredible amount of support surrounded by great food and a massive turnout at the Taste of Charlotte.
