Charlotte teen, 13-year-old brain-injured Gavin Clampitt, was happy after experiencing Luke Combs’ kindness.

Luke recently gave the Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital around a dozen concert tickets, with one of the fortunate kids attending Luke’s performance.

Gavin survived with only a seven percent chance after his injury. Crystal Clampitt, Gavin’s mother, says his brain damage was significant and he wasn’t expected to be able to talk.

Despite hurdles, he can speak again, and he surprised everyone by recalling the time his mom, Crystal, almost choked on a chicken nugget after hearing him speak.

As Gavin struggles to improve his health, Luke Combs has stepped in to celebrate Gavin by giving him and his family a chance to see him live in concert.

Gavin loves listening to Luke Combs, and he can’t wait to hear his concert performance of “Fast Car.”  What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you? Share your story.
