Rob Thomas brought up his band’s now-infamous Barbie moment during a recent Matchbox Twenty show. Before playing “Push” at Sunday’s show in Mansfield, MA, Thomas said “I’d like to dedicate this next song to Ryan Gosling”. Gosling’s performance of “Push” is being hailed as one of the funniest scenes in the movie – and Thomas says he doesn’t mind his song being “the butt of the joke”.
