Meet the Mix 107.9 Furry Friday Friends of the Week! For Love of Pets is going on tomorrow at @animalcare&control from 8am- 5pm and Holly Haze will be there!! So we thought we would feature four friends!
First it’s Indy! (A1207529) Indy is about 3 years old, weighs about 50 lbs and is very strong. He loves to play with other dogs and can play for hours. While he is dog friendly, he can play rough. He’s house trained and knows basic commands, but will need more training and a patient human since he has never lived in a home.

Look at this face. Neutered and ready for his new home. He needs someone that can help him behave around other dogs. He probably shouldn’t be in a home with cats. He thinks they are too fun to chase. He was in foster for a few weeks, but now ready for a home. He needs leash training. He’s a lovebug and crate trained and so sweet. He just loves to play rough. Are you his person??
Grizzly (A1214235)This big baby is a 90 pound Rottweiler a bloodhound mix! He is a stunner. He has done great with smaller, calmer females that can match his play style and energy. He loves toys and things to chew on so he would need some very durable toys. He is very social and public, and is nonreactive to the environment around him. Great on a leash. He could benefit from some training as he has never lived inside of a house before. He knows a few basic commands and is super treat motivated so training should be easy. He will not respond to firm handling or aversive training methods. This is probably due to his abusive past as he was confiscated from his original owners for extreme abuse and starvation. So small children are probably not the best.
And STEWIE (A1212528). He is boxer husky mix and AMAZING!! He is silly LOVES playing with toys and LOVES other dogs male or female he just loves them!! Would probably be best in the home with another dog as he gets bored easily. Stewie is crate trained but needs to be let out regularly for potty breaks. He knows some basic commands but could use some leash work.
