A family visiting Asheville, North Carolina fell in love with a shelter dog named Grover and decided to adopt him, canceling their flight and renting a car to take him home to Massachusetts.
Grover, a stray who had been taken in by the Asheville Humane Society, found his forever home after a chance meeting during a hike organized by the shelter.
The family, who met Grover while visiting the iconic Biltmore Estate, now has a new Australian shepherd.
