Streisand Takes Jab at ‘A Star Is Born’
Barbra Streisand took a look at the A Star Is Born remake and didn’t mince words on what she thought about the film. During an interview on Australian TV, Streisand said, “At first, when I heard it was going to be done again, it was supposed to be Will Smith and Beyonce, and I thought, that’s interesting. I thought that was a great idea.”
Barbra went on to say that she “thought it was the wrong idea,” but still said she liked the film. “I can’t argue with success but I don’t care so much about success as I do originality,” Streisand continued.
