Both of these sweeties can be adopted through Halfway There Rescue.
Meet Heart! She is a spunky 2 year old pittie mix. Although she’s got big perky ears, Heart is deaf and would do best with a family that either has experience or is willing to put in the extra work to train and communicate with her through hand signals. Just because she can’t hear, doesn’t mean she can’t learn tricks! Heart knows how to sit, lay down, and shake. With the right owner, she could easily learn more! Heart is high energy and is looking for a family who catch match her energy!
Lottie is a 2-3 years old and is a lab mix. While Lottie was taken in from tough conditions, she is growing more and more brave and adventurous every day. She enjoys the company of her foster dog siblings and her foster humans, playing with toys, chewing on bones, and most importantly – peanut butter. She has many attributes of a happy go luck Lab and has taken to happy trotting and butt wiggles – more and more every day. Given her history, Lottie will be best suited for a family that is willing to show her patience and give her time to acclimate to their day-to-day. Calmer households are where Lottie thrives the most, given her sensitivity to loud noises or commotion, which can startle her.
