Post Malone paid tribute to a country music great this past weekend.
Post led the crowd in an epic sing-a-long salute to Toby Keith during his performance after Arlington, Texas’ American Rodeo on March 9th.
He sang “As Good as I Once Was,” Keith’s rip-roaring 2005 hit about balancing middle age against still having a little fun.
Before the song’s last chorus, Post took a dramatic pause, then raised his red Solo Cup.
As the crowd cheered, Post took a swig of his drink before finishing the song.
Toby Keith lost his battle with stomach cancer on February 5th. He was 62 years old.
