Are you getting tired of endless sequels and remakes? Apparently, you’re not alone.
A new survey from streaming service Tubi found that 74 percent of Millennials and Gen Zers would rather watch original content than remakes or franchise sequels.
Younger viewers also prefer “independent and small-time creators” they can support directly.
That could explain the recent failure of recent franchise sequels like Indiana Jones, Transformers, Mission: Impossible, and the Marvel Universe.
