Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week!!

I´m Attie (A12216216) I am 8 yr young girl that really wants to be your best friend and companion.

My foster mom tells me a lot that she loves me, and I am not sure if I have felt this kinda love before! But I really like my new life on the couch, sleeping in my safe crate at night and getting good and healthy food. Right now, I´m about 38 lbs. I should gain a little more weight to be perfect!

Animal Control found me in the backyard at my previous owner’s house. Unfortunately, he had passed away and I had been outdoors without any food and water for a while. Because of this, I was skinny and sick. Now I am healing both inside and out. I am done with all my medications and just need some more good food. I really like other dogs if they are not too small and look like a cat. Sometimes I do get a little excited and can jump to say hi, but since I am a pocket pittie, I am not too heavy. I like older kids and I am learning to like men even though I am a little more careful greeting men than women. If I can be your hiking buddy and sleep by your side my life will be perfect! BTW – I don´t destroy or chew on things and I like to play with soft toys.

I am: Housebroken,Crate trained and sleeps quietly all night in my crate, I like other dogs, but I am a little dominant so maybe some submissive friends. No cats! Best with older children. Good on the leash with the harness. Love being outside. Gives best kisses and loves to cuddle on the couch.

And Leonard (A1223285) he is 6 years old. Neutered. 57 lbs. Lab Pittie and so sweet

Leonard (affectionately Lenny) is so sweet and cuddly. He will climb right in my lap for pets. He’ll get a few bursts of energy throughout the day but is mostly very chill. He is also crate-trained!

Lenny would do fantastic with a yard to play fetch in and/or another dog to be his playmate. I play with him as much as I can in my small apartment and have tried so many enrichment toys, but I can tell he’s missing something.

He does pull on the leash towards other dogs but shows positive body language. He gets very excited and wants to play. The only exception is if a dog growls at him, he doesn’t like that. Crowded places are also very overstimulating for him and he loses all leash manners, but with time and training he has so much potential! Meet Leonard Saturday the 24th (tomorrow!) at PetSmart Cotswold location from 11-1!

Adoptables also at PetSmart Cornelius location tomorrow 11-1

Both of these amazing dogs are available through Animal Care and Control.
