Margot Robbie has been tapped to produce a live-action film based on the classic board game, “Monopoly.
The news was announced at CinemaCon and the production company LuckyChap released a statement and said, “Monopoly is a top property − pun fully intended.
Like all of the best IP, this game has resonated worldwide for generations, and we are so excited to bring this game to life alongside the wonderful teams involved at Lionsgate and Hasbro.
” The “Monopoly” movie concept has been in talks for a while, with actor Kevin Hart and director Tim Story reportedly attached to the project back in 2019.
As of now, no other cast or crew has been announced.
