You might want to start pulling your summer clothes out of storage. The National Weather Service is predicting a scorching hot summer for all U.S. states but two. While states like Arizona and New Mexico often catch the brunt of the summer heat,  they’re not even among the four states that are expected to see the worst heat from May through July this year. That honor belongs to Washington state, New Mexico, south Texas and southern Florida, according to the NWS. While three Hawaiian islands – Kauai, Oahu and Maui – each have a higher-than-normal chance of seeing above-average temperatures, the Big Island is expected to experience a normal summer, the agency reports.
