Ryan Black who joined Matt & Ramona who talks about his journey on “Farmer Wants A Wife.” The first episode aired last week and you can catch it every Wednesday at 9 PM on Fox Charlotte.
Black studied at UNC Charlotte before returning to Gastonia and his 44-acre ranch where he trains and breeds horses. The cowboy is one of the four farmers looking for love.

He shares why he went on the show to find a wife.
“The authenticity factor behind it and this show both are different like dynamic to your lifestyle where when it comes to matchmaking there’s a lot of criteria and standards and stuff that they implement,” Ryan explained.
“Then the reality of the show being at my ranch, you know, I felt that there may be a chance to really get a solid connection. Maybe someone that’s genuine and they get a time to spend with you and your lifestyle.”
The farmer also tells Matt and Ramona the criteria he’s looking for in a wife.
“Not someone that can kind of deal with our lifestyle or do the things we do in our lifestyle, but just understand our lifestyle,” Black said.
